Breaking Bad Intro Sequence

This motion sequence, created for the opening titles to the popular AMC show ‘Breaking Bad’, is an attempt to more accurately represent the show’s personality and subject matter. The process of a methamphetamine cook, which happens to be largely significant in the series, is alluded to with tightly shot video close ups. The names of all consistent cast members, along with the show creator and main title, are included during this sequence. The text is treated with a subtle blurring effect that includes the use of molecular structures, similar to the shape of letters, interchanging within the names due to the large prevalence of chemistry within the show. All of this is tied together with energetic music and a focus on rhythmic editing.
